I added three new butterfly species to the Skinadin list the other day - Meadow Brown, Painted Lady and Common Blue.

I guess that many people are aware that 'Cuckoo Spit' is produced by the nymphs of a bug called a Froghopper. Well this is what an adult of the species looks like.

The Scotch Argus butterfly has appeared this week and I had a fritillary at Skinadin this afternoon. Unfortunately it didn't settle, so I was unable to ascertain the species. I had another short outing this evening and found a couple of new insects:
