10 March 2013. . . . A coastal walk at Ashaig

Wildfowl were plentiful, with Mallards, Mergansers and 8 Goldeneye.
Also found some Coltsfoot - the third of our spring flowers to show itself.
The Drinker moth caterpillars are also starting to appear.

U3A outing to Leitir Fura. The bullfinches and woodpeckers are back. Popped down to Loch na Dal afterwards and we were rewarded with a sighting of a pair of Teal: Copyright: Tony Hisgett
