March on the Isle of Skye

1 March 2021 A day of sunshine and a nice low tide, so several members of the Skye Nature Group headed for their nearest beach.

2 March 2021 The good weather continues, so back to the beach - this time at Ord.

3 March 2021 A fly discovered in a spider's web and a new lichen from a hillside boulder.

17 March 2021 A walk around Ardnish yielded three new species. I was particularly pleased with the lichen - although it's supposed to be very common, I've looked for it vain before.
